Development Professionals Breakfast Club
The panhandle region has many nonprofits, as well as a diverse group of development professionals. This Circle will be a place where learning is encouraged, through a sharing of experiences and expertise in a confidential environment. We want to encourage development professionals to take advantage of educational opportunities.
This in-person event will take place quarterly from 8:30am to 9:30am On Thursday, March 30th, June 29th, August 31st, and November 30th Instructor will be Jacy Jenks, CFRE with The Nonprofit Connection Registration Fee: $40 with a light continental breakfast provided.
Topics will include:
- March – Stewardship
- June – Reoccurring Gifts
- August – Self-Care (how development professionals can prevent burnout and isolation)
- November – Development and your Board
About the Instructor
Jacy Jenks has been in fundraising and nonprofit work for over 20 years. She received her BBA and MBA from West Texas A&M University and holds the CFRE designation. In January of 2022, Jacy started The Nonprofit Connection, a consulting firm. She has worked with organizations in New York, Los Angeles and across the Texas Panhandle to create and implement effective
fundraising programs. Prior to consulting, Jacy worked for 10 years as a Development Director for an Amarillo non-profit. She was a one-person development department writing grants, planning special events, establishing corporate and individual giving programs and stewarding donors.
