Meals on Wheels of Amarillo will be kicking off their new AniMeals on Wheels program, in conjunction with a partnership with Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine, with a special press conference Tuesday, November 9th, at 5:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.
This program will provide dog and cat food once a month to clients of Meals on Wheels, and in the near future, veterinary services that will be provided by students and faculty of the veterinary school.
LOCATION: Meals on Wheels, 7550 Outlook Drive, Amarillo, TX
Guests will walk into a Christmas wonderland starting with the museum’s signature tree leading into the tree forest which will have 17 trees available for purchase or up for auction. This VIP event will be filled with jazzy holiday music, culinary creations from local caterer, Two Knives catering, and a festive signature cocktail. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the inaugural PPHM Christmas pin designed by local artists Kat Luciano and Gail Boone.

The WTAMU Forensics team is hosting a high school Speech and Debate
Tournament and are looking to recruit judges!
Judging ranges from policy debate to prose and poetry.
This event has many choices to judge, all giving focus on speaking.
Judges must be older than 18 years old!
Judging will be needed all-day and community service hours are available.
Meals will be given to those who are there for more than three rounds and snacks will be provided for all.
